Dumbbell Workout

Hope everyone had a fantastic Thanksgiving! After all the food, drink and friends we soaked in over the extra long weekend, it’s time to get back into the swing of things! Let’s get ourselves ready for Christmas with this quick 20-25 minute cardio blast!

For this workout you will need:

  • Set of Dumbbells.
    • For Guys maybe 35/45#, Women 15/25#. (More or less depending on your level)
  • Space to run or a treadmill.

Not much needed for this one. If you don’t have a set of dumbbells, you could use a barbell or a PVC pipe depending on ability and level.

Warm Up:

Stretch: 30s each side x 2

  • Hip Flexors
  • Shoulders
  • Achilles/Calf

2 Rounds:

  • 100m Jog
  • 10 Air Squats
  • 20 Shoulder Taps
  • 20 Jumping Jacks

Our Workout Spotlight #2 is:

For Time:

Cash In: 1 Mile Run

Then:

3 Rounds

  • 15 Dumbbell Thruster (Or Barbell/PVC)
  • 12 Burpees
  • 9 Push Ups

Cash Out: 800m Run

 

BOOM! Done! Burning away those Thanksgiving calories!
